AUSSIE GREEN TECHNOLOGY EXPLODES ACROSS USA
AUSSIE GREEN TECHNOLOGY EXPLODES ACROSS USA

Media Release
22nd April 2008

Melbourne, Australia, 22nd April 2008, Green Invest Limited (ASX:GNV), Plumbers across the USA are jumping onto the bandwagon to join the GreenPlumbers USA network. GreenPlumbers USA is an initiative of GreenPlumbers Australia (100% wholly owned by Green Invest Ltd), a leading Australian environmental products and installation business.

After months of planning, GreenPlumbers USA is now open for business with the first US licensees coming onboard. “With such a huge market of 438,000 plumbers across the US, we are targeting the best to join our GreenPlumbers licensing program. The initial responses are living up to expectation and the licensing revenue streams we’ve been expecting are already beginning,” said CEO of GreenPlumbers, Mr Ian McMillan.

“The GreenPlumbers program has already gained high level community and Government support across the US, including recognition from Californian Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger’s administration,” added Ian.

Green Invest Limited listed on the ASX in February 2008 and comprises two No. 1 Australian businesses, GreenPlumbers and Nextgen, the largest carbon trader in Australia.

The GreenPlumbers program has two stages where initially plumbers are trained in water saving practices and then invited to become a licensee in a national network. The GreenPlumbers training was launched late 2007 and is well on its way to training 4,000 plumbers in 100 workshops across America this year.

“The challenge ahead of us is to present our program to all of the 438,000 plumbers in America,” said Ian.

GreenPlumbers USA is aiming to become the largest licensed green group in America as well as hosting the most acclaimed environmental training program.

Multiple GreenPlumbers training workshops have been scheduled all over America in preparation for GreenPlumbers’ “metro city challenge” in May and September; to have a whopping ten workshops in ten cities all in the one week.

“Much to our surprise and paving the way to this success has been the support received by the City and Union officials in each locality, which is reflective of this fitting in perfectly into their own ‘green’ master plans,” said Ian.

“We have been swamped with calls from plumbers wanting to know when we will be in their town next, and have also been approached by a homeowners association in Georgia looking for a GreenPlumber to install new technology in 300 homes,” added Ian.
